The Avengers and Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter

I was going to talk about my vacation in Cabo San Lucas today, but I’m too tired. I spent most of this weekend moving things around in search of construction supplies. I hate buying more when I’ve been sitting on what I need for years.

Anyway, the other thing I did was take the family to the movies as a belated bithday gift. We went to see.

I loved them both. Lots of action and adventure and just enough depth to keep me from feeling like I wasted my time. I came out of The Avengers grinning. That’s partly because there were a couple of little extra bits at the very end, one mixed in with the credits and one after. We were the only ones to stay for the whole thing. If you go, hang in there until the lights come up, and get a load of all the names under the CG section. Oh my!
