Brick Walls

I ran into not one, but two brick walls last week. These are walls that you, personally, might notice.

The first was the collapse of TNChick as the hub for PhotoHunt. For the last two or three years, ever since there were some health issues in her family, she has been unable to really tend the hub, but this closing down was no real surprise. She did at least offer it up for grabs, so the meme itself stands a chance of continuing. However, because of the nature of Jack and Jill, there’s a good chance I won’t know what the next theme is supposed to be in time to get one posted.

I’ve been thinking, though, that if I’m unable to do the usual thing with Jack and Jill, I might want to do something else with it. So even if I no longer do PhotoHunt, I might still be able to continue on with Jack and Jill. It will depend on how things go over the next month.

The second wall with the suspension of Sunday 160 by it’s creator, Monkey Man. This one is apparently not being offered up to others, merely taking an unlimited break. If I were him, I’d let someone I trust keep it warm until he’s ready to take it back. He’s done a wonderful job of building this one up, and it’s sad to see it fall apart.

For the time being, I think I’ll keep my own Sunday’s warm with a quick picture post every Sunday. Again, there’s no telling what I ultimately end up doing on those days.
