Yep, it’s a whale. I kind of wondered because the skull looked wrong. Turned out someone took the parts of a whale that beached itself and moved them up shore, then someone else added a dolphin skull. Kind of made me think of the creatures from the movie Tremors.
This is the collar bone. It’s specially designed to help a whale maintain warm blood to the brain. See the holes on either side? This is where the veins go. To keep them from collapsing in deep water, the veins are under intense pressure. That is why the holes are so large.
