1 c butter
1/2 c peanut butter
1/2 c granulated sugar
1/2 c packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 1/4 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
Beat butter, shortening, and peanut butter together. Add sugars, egg, and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients separately then mix gradually into beaten mixture.
Chill for 45 minutes. Shape into rolls. Wrap in waxed paper or plastic wrap and chill overnight.
Reshape to be nice and round. Remove wrap. Cut into 1/4 inch slices. Place 1 inch apart on cookie sheet. Bake at 375F for 8 to 140 minutes.
