Cream Cheese Rolled Cookies

2 c flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 c butter
4 oz cream cheese
1 c sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla

Beat butter and cream cheese for 30 seconds. Add sugar, and beat till fluffy. Add egg and vanilla. Beat well. Combine baking powder with flour then dry ingredients with cream cheese mixture. Chill. (half an hour in the freezer will do it, but 2 hours in the refrigerator is recommended.) Working with half the dough at a time on a floured surface, roll dough to 1/8th of an inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes. Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 375 deg F for 8 to 10 minutes.
