Best Laid Plans of Mice and Me

I’m back!

I made a bunch of promises I couldn’t keep. I’m very sorry. First, I promised to keep visiting and commenting on your blogs. I did visit, but I was blocked from commenting over and over. More about that in a minute.

Second I promised to have a new Suzie’s House posted every Wednesday. Although I did have them written ahead, I ran into some technical glitches. If I’d had a bit more time I could have overcome the technical problems, but since I couldn’t comment anyway it seemed like a waste of effort.

So… my Suzie’s House fans will have a whole new arc to look forward to. I’ve already posted the first one last Wednesday. I’ll add the three words to the rest and put them out there one a week, just running a little late.

About the commenting, the biggest problem involved the way blogger hates ipads. Because I my luggage was already running over weight I elected to leave my laptop home. This left me with an ipad and a smart phone. I had tested them both in the USA before leaving and been able to comment on them, so I thought it would be fine.

When I got to Indonesia I found that even when I had internet service, I had all kinds of problems getting online, and staying online. Blogger had a glitch where the photos you have to chose from always popped up, but couldn’t be clicked on. No matter what I did, I couldn’t convince any blogger site that I wasn’t a robot. WordPress was also a bit glitchy, but at least there I had much better odds.

Then time ran me over. Between jet lag, all the activities, and just general fatigue, I barely had time to breath. All my down time went to trying to email my dh. Another promise I had trouble with.

Anyway, I have every reason to think I’ll be back on schedule now. I’ve already run around and commented on the blogs of those who visited while I was gone. I’ll just have to NOT make any more promises.

Except maybe I’ll make one promise. I promise to show you some of the pictures from my trip. Not all! I took over 10,000 of them. But some of the more choice pictures are coming your way.
