I know I should wait until next year to post this, but I’m impatient. To bring good luck to both of us, say “Rabbit Rabbit!” in my comment stream. If you posted a picture of a rabbit on your blog, let me know and I’ll come say Rabbit Rabbit to you, too.
In keeping with Nessa’s Rabbit-Rabbit good luck charm, I’m posting a rabbit on the first of the month. Quick! Say “Rabbit Rabbit” in my comments to bring us both good luck. Better yet, post your own picture of a rabbit and we can wish each other good rabbit fortune for the month. You may notice my rabbit is a little odd this month. It has horns. That’s because Mr. Al captured a wylie jackelope in the wilds of Wall Drug. […]
Here’s something to keep you entertained for a little while, because I still haven’t straightened out my guest blogger traffic snarl yet. It will probably be a couple of weeks. If that wasn’t enough, check this out: Dancing Song Emily at Random Ability brought this to my attention. It pays to read her comment stream.
I almost forgot it’s the first of the month, and for good luck I should post a picture of a rabbit and invite everyone to cheer “Rabbit! Rabbit!” with me. I didn’t have a rabbit handy, so I grabbed one of Mr. Al’s Labbits. Edited in response to Andi’s comments: See, they really do come fully equipped. Mr. Al didn’t add the cigarettes. They come with them. They are made of a hard plastic with a textured finish, are about […]
These ladies leave me astounded, and as someone who could once rotate from doing the splits with the right foot forward to doing them with the left forward without lifting off the floor, I don’t impress easy.
Remember the pumpkin? The one I bought for Halloween then never got around to carving… . Well, I finally got around to it. I couldn’t believe the thing could sit around for so long and still be good, but it seemed fine – no soft spots or discoloration or odor – so I carved it up with an eye toward eating it and/or maybe leaving a thin, dry shell that I could reuse as a Halloween decoration in the future. […]
Let’s play a game! Have you ever played the word association game? In that game, someone will say a word, then the next person says the first word they think of. Each person who follows simply says what ever word comes to mind, based on the previous word. For instance: Person 1: red Person 2: bull Person 3: pasture Person 4: grass etc. For the meme, it would look more like this: Alice said: Go! Sacred Ruminations said: Forth and […]
Mr. Al and I actually made an effort to watch part of the Olympics yesterday. It’s not really our thing, generally, but the skating stuff is fun and we got into the skiing, especially when a Montana boy made good. Did you bother to watch? Warning, this is just a TV promo video thing. I couldn’t find anything from last night yet.
I know, I know. I have no taste. But you’ve got to admit it’s funny.
I know, I already have a post up for today, but I want to get this into my archives because it doesn’t happen every day. Today is Square Root Day. You know: 3/3/09. I feel so privileged to be alive today. 🙂
Suzie’s House is on holiday today. Instead, I’m going to enjoy Christmas a little longer. Here are a couple of the cool light displays you can find on YouTube. The girl emailed them too me. I love the modern age.
Let’s see if I can get this thing to work. Yes! Break through! I love music videos. 😀 Next up? Beer ads! You’ll have to go see Jill for the singing cookies. Alice
