Oops

Yeah, I’m bugging out on the recipe this week. I swear, I’m having a harder time keeping up since I got home than I did while I was traveling. Hopefully I’ll stay on top of things better once the kids are back in school.

Rocks for Brains

Last week Jack found airline tickets in the trash of the woman who claimed to have their dog, Tonic. Jack: We should use them! Jill: What? Go to Cabo? What do you mean? Jack: Yeah, yeah! It’s a great idea. She must not want them. She threw them away. Jill: Wait. Jack. It doesn’t work that way. Jack: Can’t you imagine the sun and the surf, Pina Coladas in the pool, getting frisky on the beach? Jill:It doesn’t work that […]

Food in Cabo

I was really hoping to be able to share some pictures of food with you, even if I couldn’t come up with a recipe this week. But alas. No go. I made the mistake of taking the pictures with my own camera, which I can’t down. As soon as I get a chance I’ll go to another camera store and try to replace the cord. My problem is the camera is a few years old, and discontinued. It’s getting hard […]

More Apologies

Gosh, this is getting old. I am, again, so sorry about Suzie’s House. This is twice in a row, which I consider unconscionable. I was so sure I’d be able to post it today, but have run into computer issues. Nor will there be a Jack and Jill tomorrow, for the same computer-related reasons.

The Last 48 Hours

Wow. That was bad. Just when I thought I was going to get away with a tolerable move all H broke out. I’m piecing the site together now. Please be patient with me. Edited 6/30/09 6:30 p Yesterday, after a long night of tossing and turning, I woke up with words like these floating in my head. Three years down the tubes held in limbo between one host and another existing only in a single, vulnerable, already flawed file. Pleas […]

WARNING WARNING WARNING

I’m going to try and make a few changes to my blog and my web site over the next few weeks. Since I know little or nothing about the process, this could be a problem. No doubt the web site will disappear, and things will look a bit odd. Since I will also be traveling at this time, I may not be able to fix it. I’ll still be around to visit as much as I can, and I still […]

Microwaved Eggs

Sorry, I couldn’t get any pictures of eggs that explode in the microwave for you. My new microwave wouldn’t cooperate. Keep in mind when doing this, though, that you can get quite the mess to clean up if you do it wrong. Crack one egg into a microwavable container. I recommend avoiding ones with straight sides like some of the Pyrex containers or mugs as they tend to cause explosions a bit more than ones with tapered sides. Plastic ones […]
